The International Journal of Vocational Education Studies (IJVES) publishes current findings on vocational education and training (VET), focusing on the analysis and further development of VET. The journal aims to strengthen the international academic exchange of selected research results from different countries, thereby networking the international community. The journal and its articles are intended for the academic community as well as decision-makers in the field of VET. The goal is to make research results from vocational education studies accessible to an international audience and to inform about current developments in VET. The journal acknowledges that VET in different countries is studied not only from an educational perspective but also from other disciplines, such as political science, sociology, and economics.

Die Zeitschrift für Migrationsforschung (ZMF) bietet ein Forum für die wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit den Hintergründen und Bedingungen räumlicher Bewegungen von Menschen in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart sowie mit durch Migrationsprozesse hervorgebrachtem gesellschaftlichem Wandel in Herkunfts-, Transit- und Zielkontexten. Die Beiträge präsentieren neue Forschungsergebnisse aus verschiedenen Disziplinen und Forschungsfeldern, diskutieren Konzepte oder formulieren theoretische Angebote. Alle Beiträge durchlaufen zur Qualitätssicherung ein Begutachtungsverfahren.

Die Zeitschrift »Stichwort« des Fachgebietes Textiles Gestalten greift aktuelle Beiträge zu relevanten textilwissenschaftlichen und textilkünstlerischen Themen von Studierenden und Lehrenden auf und stellt sie einer größeren Leserschaft zur Verfügung. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf den studentischen Haus-, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten. Oft verstauben wichtige wissenschaftliche Ausarbeitungen der Studierenden in den Regalen. Das Fachmagazin »Stichwort« bietet ein Repräsentationsforum für herausragende studentische Arbeiten, die von einem allgemeinen Interesse sind.

Die Reihe Perspektiven bietet in regelmäßigen Abständen verschiedene Blickwinkel auf Soziale Arbeit in der Migrationsgesellschaft und muslimische Wohlfahrtspflege. Dabei setzt sie auf interdisziplinäre wissenschaftliche Zugänge, Praxisnähe und abwechslungsreiche Themensetzungen. Die Autor*innen dieses Perspektivenbandes diskutieren zum Auftakt der Reihe, wie Soziale Arbeit in der Migrationsgesellschaft aussehen kann, wie sich Gesellschaften und Soziale Arbeit gegenseitig beeinflussen und welche Rolle eine muslimische Wohlfahrtspflege in Zukunft spielen könnte.

JCYD is an international, online, open access, peer review journal for the study of personal and social development in childhood and adolescence. Its perspectives are multi-disciplinary, coming from educational sciences, psychology and sociology. The journal aims at a better understanding of contemporary socialization processes, focusing on the link between  the individual and the society, presenting current and comparative studies using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The Journal's Co-Editors are Prof. Dr. Beate Wischer und Prof. Dr. Wassilis Kassis of the University of  Osnabrueck in Germany.
A special concern of JCYD is the aim to identify appropriate socialization practices and to promote the development, advancement and dissemination of knowledge about challenging issues. JCYD publishes theoretically informed and original research from a multitude of perspectives and covering a broad band aspects of childrens’ and adolescent’ life affecting wider society.
