Call for contributions

Goals of the Bulletin:

• To promote academic dialogue between Germany, Costa Rica and beyond
• To earn visibility of joint research projects 
• To encourage the exchange of methodological and theoretical insights
• To discuss innovative approaches to cooperation management and internationalization

 Types of Contributions

Contributions from all disciplines are welcome, and interdisciplinary collaboration is encouraged. Contributions may comprise the following formats, among others:

• Scientific essays
• Case studies
• Research reports
• Methodological reflections
• Summaries of theses or dissertations
• Testimonials regarding stays in Osnabrück and Costa Rica

 Languages

Manuscripts may be submitted in:

• English
• Spanish

Submission Guidelines

• Contributions should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words long, excluding references.
• All submissions must reflect collaborative work between partner institutions. Co-authorship across institutions is strongly encouraged.
• Submissions must adhere to the guidelines set out in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.).
• Researchers, management and teaching staff funded by the Costa Rica Center are expected to submit a contribution.
• Contributions must be submitted through the bulletin's website. Setting up the appropriate profile is required for this purpose.

• Call for Contributions: 19 May 2026
• Submission Deadline: 31 July 2026
• Review & Revision Period: 1 August – 30 September 2026
• Design: 1 – 31 October 2026
• Publication: 1 November 2026
